This I actually finished a few days ago. Well, chapter four anyway.

Well, this chapter is rather short.

The chapter starts with telling us that it's the second day of the tournament and it's 6am. That fact made me sleepy and wonder why I wasn't in bed. Also, what sort of teenagers get up and are ready by 6AM to play tennis. Tennis loving, PoT teenagers, I know. The point was, that question was rhetorical.

It's official, the first match of the new series is our trickster, Momoshiro Takeshi vs High school 'Guardian of Hell' Oni Juujirou. We first hear of Oni's two stringed racket.

Anywho, the match begins and Oni occurs to be our newest Gary-stu. Except, less attractive than a Gary-stu. But his unattractiveness means he can follow with the 'real' Jack Knife and Momo's wrists are injured.

Yes, really, the chapter was that short. It must be one of the shortest matches Konomi has ever written.

So, this brings us to the conclusion of the chapter where Momo, our first middle school player to play a match, is both injured and has lost, most likely. Poor middle schoolers. Poor Momo.

Chapter Five

Okay, so this actually came out a few days ago but I was too lazy to update until now.

So the chapter starts with the typical 'Oh my god, -insert name here- is injured. How will he continue to play?' but leads onto what looks like a concerned Ryoma. Yes, you heard that right, a concerned Ryoma. Ryoma looking like he's concerned... WHAT HAPPENED TO RYOMA, KONOMI?! PLEASE DON'T CASTRATE HIM LIKE THE FANGIRLS DO!

Eh hem. That didn't happen. The next picture is Momo with his tennis racket in his mouth. That tennis racket has to taste bad. It's had sweaty hands all over it and it most likely has never been washed. Not to mention, with all that food Momo eats, Momo must have crumbs and grease and heaven knows what all over it. It's probably also covered in dirt after being dropped a few times. Nice work Momo, you thought that move through well.

So Momo's been eating and talking with a tennis racket in his mouth - and by eating I mean he's eating the racket. Couldn't Momo just use his hands. He can't use his wrists, riiiight... I forgot, except the fact for most of the chapter he's playing tennis with a racket in his hands. -face palm-

So Momo looses pitifully, gets covered in sweat from playing a high school who obviously can play tennis half decently (remember what I said about the sweaty racket? See, it makes sense) and I think there's some blood when he gets hit somewhere. In the gut most likely. You don't really see the tennis ball make contact, Momo's just in the position that he's been hit with a metorite in one of the pictures.

I can't tell if he's been hit in the chin, gut or balls. He just looks hella uncomfortable and really tired for what'd probably be a really short, onesided match. Not in Momo's favour either. No, Momo looses very badly. But he breaks the two strings on Oni's racket, so he gets some points for effort, but a love match is very disappointing from the first middle-schooler to play in the series.

So this match finishes and the 'mental coach' for the selection camp - yes, it's a camp and most likely will lack the fanservice the anime camp had before you start fansquealing - called Saitou Itaru comes out and asks everyone to get into pairs.

You can see where this is going right?

So we get all of the beloved doubles pairings that are so often over played by fangirls, and I suppose fanboys in some cases *coughHoriocough*, all paired up and ready to play a doubles match.

Then what?

If you've now guessed that our beloved doubles pairs are playing each other, you have guessed correctly. Plot twist: The one who looses the match is kicked out of the camp! Noooo~! That means our beloved doubles pairs will be seperated for a long time. Konomi, first you castrate Ryoma and make him show concern, then you seperate our doubles players? What are you doing?

I applaud you. (I bet you didn't expect me to say that.) Okay, bring back uncastrated Ryoma but I do acknowledge you for standing up against fangirls. I mean, they can't make you have the same fate as our double pairs. (This refers to when Atobe shaved his head and fangirls got so angry with Konomi that Konomi shaved his own head to repent. Or so I've heard, I can't find any evidence though.)
